Product Review - Tara Medium coverage foundation

Hello Beauties!
Today I would like to review the TARA MEDIUM COVERAGE foundation. This foundation came in the goodie bag that I was given at the Bruncheon organised by the House of Tara. It took place last month at Bon voyage Hotel in Victoria Island. And I happened to have received a pleasant surprise honorarium for being the Winner of  the Face to Face International Makeup competition in Orlando Florida. Thank you House of Tara.

I bet a lot of you heard about the event as it created a buzz on the social media.lol.

Ok, so the foundation shade in my goodie bag was TF311.
It came in the beautiful black packaging.
It has an excellent viscosity for a liquid foundation

This shade is not my shade so I had to get someone whose shade it was in order to do a proper analysis. Thankful Joy walked into Flawless studio and gladly accepted my request to test on her face. Thank you Joy. This is Joy before I applied the foundation on her face

I put a little on her face as shown in the picture below. I noticed that a little goes a long way. That means the foundation will take a while to finish.lol

I found the foundation easily blendable. And it gave a smooth coverage as you can see in the picture above. It is not oily.
It also covered the mild blemishes that Joy had.

In conclusion:
Pros:
1. Nice pacakaging
2. Good viscosity
3. Easily blends into the skin
4. Good coverage for a medium coverage foundation
5. A little covers alot.
6. Not Oily

Cons:
The shade name is not written on the body of the main product so If you loose the pack you may not remember what shade you used/purchased.

Hope you find this very useful! I would love to hear from you especially after you have used this foundation.

Till my next post here's a favourite quote for you
"When its tough to see the big picture and its hard to keep your priorities straight, continue to lean on God" -Marshawn Evans

XOXO!

From the stable of an international winner.....

Dear friends,
September 29th will always be a memory I will always live to cherish. Accomplishing such an historic feat of being the face ever winner of the face to face international makeup competition, I will forever be thankful to God.
When I look back am filled with praises and gratitude to God that I discovered purpose and passion early in life. Being on the path of destiny is the best thing that can happen to anyone.
The discovery of purpose is the greatest discovery you will ever make. When you can answer the who, what and where questions of your life, you become unstoppable
Now imagine I never discovered my passion  for makeup, imagine I never ran with that passion, imagine I didn’t believe in myself enough to put my best foot forward….The victory we are celebrating today will be a mere wish.
In life there is no vacuum, while you are dragging your feet and wishing to take the first step into what you were created to do, some else is running with it. Ideas they say, are not faithful.
So the question is: Have you discovered purpose? Are you running on a passionate course? Do you have a dream? Do you have a vision? Do you have a purpose for living? Or are you just making up the number? Are you dwelling on the things that seem to say you can’t make it or are you fixing your eyes on the reasons why you must make it.
Like a wise man said “if you fail it’s your fault, if you succeed it’s your fault”
The world will only applaud the man who is on a purposeful course. Be deliberate about succeeding!

 Till my next post.....Take charge!

Historic feat....

Being the first ever winner of the face to face international makeup competition calls for a lot of celebration.
On the 13th of September, 2013 when I got a mail with the caption 'congratulations' as soon as I read it, it brought tears of joy unconsciously to my eyes.Just making it to the finals was a big deal to me, little did I know I was going to make history.
Having to have participated exposed me to ALOT of knowledge, meeting other talented and wonderful makeup artist and one of the best part was being on the Kat and Danessa team.
Ever since September 29th I emerged as the first ever winner, its been like a dream! When I look back, I can only say it was God's grace that brought me victory.

Many thanks to the organizers of The Makeup Show.

Stay tune! I promise to give a full account of what went down at The Makeup Show Orlando Florida 2013 Face to Face competition!
